Nuclear power has very special requirements for coating. China has formulated the corresponding standards and specifications for nuclear power by reference to the United States and France. The main standards and specifications for the application in nuclear power are:
(1) NF T30-900-1996 Test Method for Performance and repairability of color paint and varnish nuclear industrial coatings under the Conditions of design base accident;
(2) NF T30-903-1988 Stability test of color paint and varnish nuclear industrial coatings under ionizing radiation;
(3) NF T30-901-1995 Evaluation test method of stain sensitivity and decontamination capacity of industrial paint of color paint and varnish nuclear paint;
(4) EJ/T 1086-1998 Evaluation and Test Method of paint film for PWR Nuclear Power Plant under the condition of simulated design base accident;
(5) EJ/T 1087-1998 Determination of Chemical Resistance media of Coatings for pressurized Water Reactor Nuclear Power Plants;
(6) EJ/T 1111-2000 Test Method for PWR Nuclear Power Plant;
(7) EJ/T 1112-2000 Determination of decontamination tability of paint film for PWR Nuclear Power Plant.
(8) ASTM D4082-2002 Standard Test Method for the Effect of Υ -Ray on Coatings for Light Water Nuclear Power Plant
The steel structure coating of nuclear power plant was carried out according to the French standards NF T30-900, NF T30-901, NF T30-903, NF T30-049 and NF X41-002 and passed the LOCA test, decontamination test, irradiation test, aging test and saline spray test, which met the technical performance and requirements of the steel structure protective coating in the containment of nuclear power plant.
