1. Standard-- NF F 16-101/NF X 70-100

NF X 70-100: Fire behaviour tests –Analysis of pyrolysis and combustion gases-Pipe still method.

The test is conducted within a tube furnace where the temperature is set at either 400°C, 600°C or 800°C (commonly600°C is used for most materials or 800°C in the case of some electrical products). 40 minutes throughout the test. By (CO, CO2, HCI, HBr, HCN, HF, SO2) analysis of these gases toxicity index.

 

2. NF F 16-101/NF X 70-100 for assessing F classification (smoke density and toxicity)

NF X 10-702 for assessing F classification (smoke density and toxicity)

NF F 16-101:1988 referenced in this standard (NF X 70-100) and the NF X 10-702 for the F-level smoke toxicity testing

According to NF X 70-100 and NF X 10-702 results of two tests to assess the toxicity of F-class level of F0-F5 smoke six levels (F0, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5)
