ISO 9705 Standard laboratory (Large-scale fire heat release rate measurement)

一. ISO9705 Experimental use

1. Test the material heat release rate, flue gas production amount, flue gas generation rate and other indicators;

2. Evaluation the combustion characteristics of materials under actual large size fire;

3. Assess the Australian AS5637.1 Group 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 fire rating

二. ISO9705 Experimental system and principle

 The experimental device consists of four parts, including the combustion chamber, flue gas collection and sample gas collection system, gas analysis and data processing system, and gas supply system. The fire standard test room is (3.5 ± 0.05) meters long, with the same width and height (2.4 ± 0.05) meters. Open a door with width (0.8 ± 0.01) meters and height (2.0 ± 0.01) meters in the middle of the width direction. The room is made of red brick cement, lined with gypsum (or calcium silicate) wall panels and a thickness of not less than 13 mm.

Based on the principle of combustion oxygen consumption, the experiment measures the total heat flow from the flame flow meter in the room, estimates the possibility of spreading outside the room by measuring the total heat release rate, by measuring some toxic gases, and records the flame growth by taking pictures and taking pictures.

三. ISO9705 The necessity of large-size physical room testing
