NFPA 101B presents egress provisions for use as part of a building code and not as a stand-alone document. Ensure there's a safe way out of every structure! The 2002 edition of NFPA 101B has been updated to reflect the egress requirements of the 2000 edition ofNFPA 101? Life Safety Code?. NFPA? offers this document as a comprehensive substitute for the means of egress chapters of other organizations' building codes. The contents of NFPA 101B reflect the up-to-date expertise of the requirements of NFPA 101 along with the legitimacy imparted by the NFPA consensus codes development process.
