BSS 7238: Test method for smoke density
BSS 7238: 煙密度的測試方法，通過測定光束的衰減測量固體材料產生的煙密度
 
樣品需在60℃溫度下烘乾24小時，並在溫度23℃和濕度50%條件下放置16小時。
以下參考將被測定：
Ds_(1.5) 1.5分鐘的煙密度
Ds_(4.0) 4.0分鐘的煙密度
D_(max)   整個測試過程中最大煙密度
