Anchor channels An anchor channel is a fastening system that consists of a channel profile with permanently attached anchors and channel bolts. The channel profile with the anchors is fastened to the formwork prior to concreting and then cast in. The anchor channel is anchored in concrete through a form-fit between the anchor and the concrete member. The element to be attached is later fastened to the embedded channel profile with the channel bolt. The bolt head transmits the loads via the channel lips into the channel profile. There are channels with smooth channel lips and bolt heads and channels with serrated channel lips and bolt heads. Anchor channels allow flexible fastening along the channel axis.
