1.1 Scope. This standard establishes test procedures for evaluating the foam fire-fighting equipment installed on rescue and fire-fighting vehicles designed in accordance with the applicable portions of NFPA 414.
 
Make sure aircraft rescue and fire-fighting vehicles are prepared to respond in a fire emergency with the 2009 NFPA 412.
NFPA 412 Standard for Evaluating Aircraft Rescue and Fire-Fighting Foam Equipment establishes test procedures for evaluating foam equipment installed on aircraft rescue and fire-fighting vehicles in the field to determine compliance with NFPA 414 and NFPA 403.
