prEN 2824: Aerospace series –Burning behaviour, determination of smoke density and gas components in the smoke of materials under the influence of radiating heat and flames-test equipment, apparatus and media.
prEN 2825: Determination of smoke density
prEN 2826: Determination of gas components in the smoke.
area based test method（prEN2824, prEN2825, prEN2826）shall be used for surfaces（see table 1, table 2, table 3, table 4, table 5, table 5, table 6）seat trim and seat shells（table 9 and table 10）and mattresses（table 12）.
The area based method should be in accordance with prEN2824, prEN2825, prEN2826，the test fire model should be replaced by the heating arrangement specified in BS ISO 5659-2。
prEN2824, prEN2825, prEN2826 is used to BS 6853:1999 Annex B.2 toxicity test .
