EN ISO 1716 Determination of the heat of combustion
EN ISO 1716:2002 Reaction to fire tests for building Products- Determination of the heat of combustion
The standard similar with GB/T 14402-2007
In this test a test specimen of specified mass is burned under standardized conditions, at constant volume, in an atmosphere of oxygen, in a bomb calorimeter calibrated by combustion of certified benzoic acid. The heat of combustion determined under these conditions is calculated on the basis of the observed temperature rise, taking account of heat loss and the latent heat of vaporization of water.
This test determines the potential maximum total heat release by a product when complete combustion occurs,regardless of its end use. The test is relevant for the classes A1,A2,A1fl and A2fl.
A1, A1f1, A1Llevel must meet the following four requirements:
1. A homogeneous or non-homogeneous products, the main components of the total heat value (PCS) ≤ 2.0MJ/Kg;
2. Non-homogeneous products, external secondary component (PCS) ≤ 2.0MJ/Kg;
3 .non-homogeneous products within any of the secondary component (PCS) ≤ 1.4MJ/m2;
4 .the overall product (PCS) ≤ 2.0MJ/Kg;
